Is this for you?

Two types of people take this course.

Both leave qualified, insured, and equipped to do work that genuinely matters to horses.

🐴
You're building a professional service
You want to offer equine intimate health as a qualified, insurable service
You want clients who trust you — and refer you to everyone they know
You want to know exactly what you're looking for, and when to call a vet
You want a proper qualification and professional credibility behind you
You want KBIS insurance eligibility and a certificate you can show clients
🧡
You look after your own horses
You want to check your own horses properly — not just hope nothing's been missed
You've worried about what you might be missing between vet visits
You want to understand what's normal — and what needs the vet immediately
You want the skill and confidence to monitor your horse's welfare properly
You want to know the legal boundaries — what you can do and what needs a vet
One qualification covers both. The only one of its kind in the world.
This work saves lives
I cannot stress the importance of a yearly check enough. Stacy saved my boy's life.
Leeanne and Teddy
Leeanne
Teddy's owner · tumour caught during a routine welfare check

Every yard visit is a welfare check. Trained practitioners catch what owners can't see and what vets only learn about when things have already gone wrong. That reputation spreads through yards faster than any advertisement.

Level 4 EIH Practitioner Diploma
⚖️
Know when to refer. That's the skill that makes you trusted.
The Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 sets the professional boundary — and Module 4 teaches it fully. You'll know exactly what trained practitioners can and can't do, and when something needs a vet immediately. Catching what needs vet attention early is the most valuable thing a trained practitioner does. That knowledge is what owners pay for — and what keeps them coming back.

Why I built this

From a taboo to a respected profession.

When I started this work there was no training anywhere — no standard, no accreditation, no one to learn it from properly. Just a job that mattered to the horse, and that most people felt too awkward to even talk about.

So I learned it the hard way, did it well — then built the proper, accredited route I wish I'd had. So the next person doesn't have to start from nothing, and owners can finally trust who they're booking.

I still do the work every week. I'm still on the other end of an email for every student on this course. And for the first time, I'm offering the coaching calls and the business start-up course alongside the diploma — because qualification alone isn't enough. You need to know what to do next.

Your questions

Answered honestly.

Is this suitable for complete beginners?+
Yes. You need to be 18 or over and confident handling horses — no qualifications or prior training required. The course starts from first principles and builds everything else from there.
What can I actually do once I'm qualified?+
As a trained practitioner you can provide equine intimate health maintenance care and welfare monitoring — professionally and with KBIS insurance eligibility. The course covers the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 in full, so you'll know exactly what practitioners can and can't do, and when to refer to a vet. That clarity is a professional asset: it's what makes clients trust you.
How does the practical assessment work?+
You choose the route that suits you: assessment at your yard, at our yard, or by video submission. All three routes lead to the same Level 4 UK Rural Skills accredited certificate. You'll cover the assessment process in full inside the course — Stacy supports you through it.
Can I get insured after completing this?+
Yes. KBIS Insurance recognises this qualification, which means qualified graduates can apply for professional liability insurance to practise. Module 6 — Building Your Practice — covers exactly how to do this.
How long does the course take?+
It's entirely self-paced — you have 12 months' access from the day you enrol. Some students move through the coursework in a few weeks; others take longer alongside work and horses. There's no pressure to rush, and Stacy is available for support throughout.
What are the free bonuses and when do I get them?+
All three bonuses are included when you pay in full. The Equine Emergency First Aid course and Business Start-Up course are available immediately on enrolment. Your two 1:1 coaching calls are booked directly with Stacy by email — the Discovery call before you launch, and the Tools & Setup call when you're ready to go live. Spaces for the coaching calls are limited, so enrol early to secure yours.
What does the Veterinary Surgeons Act mean for what I can do?+
The VSA 1966 defines what's reserved for veterinary surgeons — diagnosing and treating conditions. Trained equine intimate health practitioners provide maintenance care and welfare monitoring, and know exactly when to refer to a vet. Module 4 covers this fully. Knowing that line — and being confident at it — is part of what makes trained practitioners trusted and insurable.
I'm a horse owner, not a professional — is this still worth doing?+
Absolutely. Many students take this course purely to look after their own horses — not to build a business. The training gives you anatomy knowledge, proper technique, and the ability to recognise what needs a vet's attention before it becomes serious. That knowledge alone could change the outcome for your horse.
